The start of the 2015 Stockholm Furniture Fair is coming very close, so ‘taking elephant steps’ is the motto while in China these days.

In only 2 weeks one of the most improtant design and furniture fairs opens its doors to inspire traders and craftmen alike. For BRICpro this means high alert as the last items have to be QCed, packed and sent over to Scandinavia for the exhibition.

This year’s set-up of the fair promises to be pretty different from what we know. The halls, for instance, are rearranged and named after wood types – Alder, Birch and Cedar, while another ‘must-check-out’ is the ‘Knowledge Area’.

Providing space for talks and seminars on design and materials, this is where the magic happens. Most interestingly, for BRICpro, the Konowledge Area events also take up discussions on social responsibility and the latest industry developments. A new ‘Design Bar’ will also be located in this part of the exhibition – a great opportunity to learn and socialize!
